REPEAL OF TRADING STAMPS REGULATION

                  This act repeals code provisions relating to the regulation of trading stamps. The act
                  repeals provisions requiring persons in the business of trading stamps to establish an
                  office in Utah, appoint a process attorney for civil actions, and post a bond. The act
                  repeals provisions requiring trading stamps to display their redeemable value, and
                  repeals provisions providing guidelines for the redemption of trading stamps.
                  This act affects sections of Utah Code Annotated 1953 as follows:
                  REPEALS:
                      13-6-1, as last amended by Chapter 66, Laws of Utah 1984
                      13-6-2, as last amended by Chapter 66, Laws of Utah 1984
                      13-6-3, Utah Code Annotated 1953
                      13-6-4, Utah Code Annotated 1953
                      13-6-5, Utah Code Annotated 1953
                      13-6-6, Utah Code Annotated 1953
                  Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
                      Section 1. Repealer.
                      This act repeals:
                      Section 13-6-1, Conditions of unlawful issue -- Process agent -- Bond.
                      Section 13-6-2, Bond -- Actions -- Parties -- Limitation of action.
                      Section 13-6-3, Redeemable value in cents to be shown.
                      Section 13-6-4, Redemption in cash or merchandise by issuer.
                      Section 13-6-5, Redemption by distributor.
                      Section 13-6-6, Violation a misdemeanor.
