Second Substitute S.B. 54

Senator Ed P. Mayne proposes the following substitute bill:

1 MOBILE HOME PARK RESIDENCY ACT AMENDMENTS
2 2003 GENERAL SESSION
3 STATE OF UTAH
4 Sponsor: Ed P. Mayne
5 This act amends the Mobile Home Park Residency Act and establishes a minimum of
6 rights and remedies for both mobile home park residents and owners.
7 This act affects sections of Utah Code Annotated 1953 as follows:
8 ENACTS:
9 57-16-17, Utah Code Annotated 1953
10 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
11 Section 1. Section 57-16-17 is enacted to read:
12 57-16-17. City, county, or municipality rights.
13 This chapter does not preclude a city, county, or municipality from establishing
14 ordinances that are equal to or greater than state law, regarding mobile home parks.
