Chair Thompson called the meeting to order at 9:02 a.m. and invited members of the committee to introduce themselves.
H.B. 36 Accessible Housing (S. Mascaro)
Representative Mascaro explained the bill to the committee.
Speaking in support of the bill were Ms. Joyce Dolcourt, ARC of Utah; Mr. Shane Sadler, Governor's Council for People With Disabilities; Ms. Fraser Nelson, Director - Disability Law Center; Ms. Corey L. Rowley, Legislative Coalition for People With Disabilities; and Chris Kyler, Utah Association of Realtors.
MOTION: Representative Litvack moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.
H.B. 41 Legislative Budgeting for Cola for Local Health Authorities (J. Seitz)
Representative Seitz explained the bill to the committee.
MOTION: Representative Buffmire moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.
