Chair Murray called the meeting to order at 9:01 a.m.

MOTION:    Representative Bush moved to approve the minutes of the February 10, 2003 committee meeting. The motion passed unanimously.


H.B. 254    Motor Vehicle Registration - Resident Exemption (R. Lockhart)

Representative Lockhart explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION:    Representative Bird moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Representative Dougall absent for the vote.


MOTION:    Representative Dunnigan moved to place the bill on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously.




H.B. 154    Vision Screening Checkoff for Motor Vehicle Registration and Driver License Application and Renewal
(K. Bryson)

Representative Bryson explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION:    Representative Winn moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed
    unanimously.

MOTION:    Representative Kiser moved to place the bill on the Consent Calendar. The motion
    passed unanimously.


MOTION:    Representative Dougall moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously.

Chair Murray adjourned the meeting at 9:12 a.m.
