             9      General Description:
             10          This bill modifies provisions of the Commerce and Trade Code dealing with unsolicited
             11      commercial and sexually explicit email.
             12      Highlighted Provisions:
             13          This bill:
             14          .    repeals the Unsolicited Commercial and Sexually Explicit Email Act.
             15      Monies Appropriated in this Bill:

             20      REPEALS:
             21          13-36-101, as enacted by Chapter 229, Laws of Utah 2002
             22          13-36-102, as enacted by Chapter 229, Laws of Utah 2002
             23          13-36-103, as enacted by Chapter 229, Laws of Utah 2002
             24          13-36-104, as enacted by Chapter 229, Laws of Utah 2002
             25          13-36-105, as enacted by Chapter 229, Laws of Utah 2002

             27      Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:



             28          Section 1. Repealer.
             29          This bill repeals:
             30          Section 13-36-101, Title.
             31          Section 13-36-102, Definitions.
             32          Section 13-36-103, Unsolicited commercial or sexually explicit email --
             33      Requirements.
             34          Section 13-36-104, Criminal penalty.
             35          Section 13-36-105, Civil action for violation -- Election on damages -- Costs and
             36      attorney fees -- Defense.
