    Representative Urquhart called the meeting to order at 8:50 A.M. and called for a motion to approve the minutes of February 16, 2004.

MOTION:    Representative Goodfellow moved to approve the minutes of February 16, 2004. The motion passed unanimously with Representatives Curtis, Styler, and Ure absent for the vote.

1st Sub. H.B. 216        Internet Privacy Act (Rep. W. Harper)

    This bill had been substituted and heard in committee on February 16. The sponsor clarified some issues for the committee.

        Larry Bunkle, MCI

MOTION:    Representative Donnelson moved to pass the substitute bill out favorably. The motion failed 3-5-4, with Representatives Bennion, Noel, and Donnelson voting in favor of the motion, Representatives Allen, Becker, Goodfellow, Snow, and Urquhart voting against the motion, and Representatives Curtis, McCartney, Styler, and Ure absent for the vote.



MOTION:    Representative Bennion moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously and the meeting was adjourned at 9:15 A.M.
