Chair called the meeting to order at 4:21 p.m.
MOTION: Rep. Bush moved to approve the minutes of February 13, 2004. The motion passed unanimously with Reps. Clark, Dunnigan, Frank, and Morgan absent for the vote.
HB0157 Transportation Amendments (Rep. J. Dougall)
Rep. Dougall explained the bill to the committee.
MOTION: Rep. Dougall moved to approve the amendments as follows:
1. Page 9, Lines 250 through 251 :
250 (10)
(a)
The board shall report, at least annually, the short-term and
long-range public
251 transit plans to the Transportation Commission created in Section 72-1-301 .
(b) The report shall include the transit portions of applicable regional transportation plans adopted by a metropolitan planning organization established under 23 U.S.C. Sec. 134.
The motion passed unanimously with Reps. Clark, Frank, Morgan, and Kiser absent for the vote.
MOTION: Rep. McCartney moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Reps. Morgan, Clark, Dunnigan and Frank absent for the vote.

Rep. Bird explained the bill to the committee.
MOTION: Rep. Lockhart moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Reps. Morgan and Alexander absent for the vote.
MOTION: Rep. Bird moved to put the bill on the consent calendar. The motion failed with Reps. Dougall and Clark voting in opposition and Reps. Alexander and Morgan absent for the vote.
SB0133 Bulk Delivery of Motor Fuel (Sen. H. Stephenson) (Rep. T. Kiser)
Rep. Kiser explained the bill to the committee with Lynn Solarzyk, Utah State Tax Commission assisting. Bruce Johnson, Utah State Tax Commission assisted with the bill.
MOTION: Rep. Bird moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously

The Chair announced this bill will not be heard at this time.
