Chair Bramble called the meeting to order at 8:16 a.m.

1.     S.B. 163 PROPERTY TAX - CONFIDENTIALITY OF CERTAIN INFORMATION (Sen. H. Stephenson)

    
Sen. Stephenson presented the bill to the committee.

    Brent Gardner, Utah Association of Counties, spoke to the bill.
    
    MOTION: Sen. Blackham moved to pass S.B.163 out of committee with a favorable recommendation.

    The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Waddoups absent for the vote.

2.     S.B. 169 SALES AND USE TAX AGRICULTURAL EXEMPTIONS (Sen. R. Allen)


    
Sen. Allen presented the bill to the committee .

    MOTION:
Sen. Bell moved to pass S.B. 169 out of committee with a favorable     recommendation.

    The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Waddoups absent for the vote.

3.     S.B. 190 SALES AND USE TAX EXEMPTION RELATING TO FILM, TELEVISION, AND VIDEO (Sen. H. Stephenson)

    Sen. Stephenson presented the bill to the committee.

    Leigh Vonderesch, Film Commission; Dale Zabriski, Utah Broadcasters Association; Bryan     Clifton, and Lynn Solarczyk, Utah Tax Commission; spoke to the bill.

     MOTION: Sen. Gladwell moved to pass S.B. 190 out of committee with a favorable     recommendation.

    The motion passed unanimously.     
4.     S.B. 191 OIL AND GAS RELATED TAXES AND FEES (Sen. B. Evans)

    Sen. Evans presented the bill to the committee.

    Lynn Solarczyk, Utah State Tax Commission; Bruce Johnson, Utah State Tax Commission;     Lee Peacock, Utah Petroleum Association; Clark Snelson, Office of the Attorney General;     spoke to the bill.    
    
     MOTION: Sen. Stephenson moved to send S.B. 191 to an interim committee.

     SUB. MOTION: Sen. Blackham moved to move to the next item on the agenda.     
    The Substitute Motion passed with Sen. Stephenson in opposition and Sen. Bell absent for     the vote.

5.     1st SUB. H.B. 36 MANAGEMENT, ENHANCEMENT, AND FUNDING OF 911 SYSTEM (Rep. B. Dee)

    Sen. Bramble spoke to the bill.

     MOTION: Sen. Gladwell moved to replace 1st Sub. H.B. 36 with 2nd. Sub. H.B. 36.


    The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Bell absent for the vote.


     MOTION: Sen. Blackham moved to adjourn.

    The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Bell absent for the vote.

    Sen. Bramble adjourned the meeting at 9:33 a.m.
