             8      General Description:
             9          This bill appropriates $5.7 million from the General Fund to the Department of Health
             10      to restore dental benefits to the state's Medicaid program.
             11      Highlighted Provisions:
             12          This bill:
             13          .    appropriates money to the Department of Health to restore dental benefits to the
             14      Medicaid program and to increase the rates paid for the dental services to levels
             15      equivalent to the Public Employee's Health Plan.
             16      Monies Appropriated in this Bill:
             17          This bill:
             18          .    appropriates $5.7 million from the General Fund for fiscal year 2004-05 only, to the
             19      Department of Health, to be used to restore dental benefits.
             20      Other Special Clauses:
             21          None

             23      ENACTS UNCODIFIED MATERIAL

             25      Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
             26          Section 1. Appropriation.
             27          There is appropriated $5.7 million from the General Fund for fiscal year 2004-05 only,


             28      to the Department of Health, to be used to restore dental benefits for the state's Medicaid
             29      recipients.
