7 General Description:
8 This bill limits the scope of the state's no-call database to unsolicited intrastate calls.
9 Highlighted Provisions:
10 This bill:
11 . declares that unsolicited telephone calls made to a telephone number listed in the
12 state's no-call database are violations only if they are intrastate calls.

21 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
22 Section 1. Section 13-25a-108 is amended to read:
23 13-25a-108. Objections to telephone solicitations.
24 (1) A person may not make or cause to be made an unsolicited telephone call within
25 Utah to a telephone number contained in the no-call database established under Section
26 13-25a-109 .
27 (2) This section applies only to intrastate telemarketing.
