Rep. Dee called the meeting to order at 8:12 a.m.

H.B. 368    Special Function Officers for Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing (Rep. N. Hendrickson)

Rep. Hendrickson, with the help of Kelly Atkinson, Fraternal Order of Police, introduced the bill and explained it to the committee.

Rep. Dee relinquished the chair to Rep. Lawrence.

MOTION:    Rep. King moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Becker, Rep. Fisher, Rep. Hardy, Rep. Menlove, and Rep. Dee absent for the vote.

MOTION:     Rep. Shurtliff moved to approve the minutes of February 8, 2005. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Becker, Rep. Fisher, Rep. Hardy, Rep. Menlove, and Rep. Dee absent for the vote.





H.B. 113    Government Boundary Changes (Rep. K. Holdaway)

MOTION:    Rep. Shurtliff moved to delete in body and title H.B. 113 and replace it with 1st Substitute H.B. 113. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Becker, Rep. Hardy, Rep. Menlove, and Rep. Dee absent for the vote.

Rep. Holdaway, with the help of Dennis Goreham, Automated Geographic Reference Center,
introduced the bill and explained it to the committee.

H.B. 216    Global Positioning Reference Network (Rep. K. Holdaway)

Rep. Holdaway, with the help of Greg Herrington, Utah Department Of Transportation, introduced the bill and explained it to the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Buxton moved to adjourn the meeting. The vote was unanimous and the Vice Chair adjourned the meeting at 9:50 a.m.
