Vice Chair Donnelson called the meeting to order at 2:16 p.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Hunsaker moved to approve the minutes of the January 26, 2005 meeting. The         motion passed unanimously with Rep. Cosgrove, Rep. Lockhart,
        Rep. Moss, Rep. Newbold, and Rep. Painter absent for the vote.

H.B. 225    Boat Registration Fee (Rep. B. Goodfellow)

Rep. Goodfellow introduced the bill and explained its intent with the assistance of Steve Roberts, Deputy Director, Division of State Parks and Recreation.

MOTION:    Rep. Snow moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed with Rep.              Donnelson voting in opposition to the motion. Rep. Lockhart, and
        Rep. Newbold were absent for the vote.


H.B. 227    Corporate Franchise and Income Taxes - Exemption for Banks (Rep. W.                                                                          Harper)


This bill was not considered in this meeting.

MOTION:    Rep. Last moved to adjourn. The motion passed with Rep. Frank, Rep. Snow,              Rep. Harper, and Rep Donnelson voting in opposition to the motion.                 Rep. Lockhart, and Rep. Newbold were absent for the vote.

The Vice Chair adjourned the meeting at 2:30 p.m.
