Committee Chair Hellewell called the meeting to order at 4:05 p.m.
MOTION: Sen. Christensen moved to approve the minutes of the February 10, 2005 meeting.
The motion passed unanimously with Sens. Davis, Hale, and Hickman absent for the vote.
1. H.B. 224 Permanent Community Impact Fund - Board Membership (J. Mathis)
Rep. Mathis explained the bill.
Gordon Walker, Director, Division of Community & Economic Development, spoke in opposition to the bill.
MOTION: Sen. Christensen moved to pass the bill with a favorable recommendation.
The motion passed unanimously with Sens. Davis and Hickman absent for the vote.
2. H.C.R. 10 Concurrent Resolution Honoring Waldo Wilcox for Preservation of Range Creek Area (B. King)
Rep. King explained the bill.
MOTION: Sen. Hale moved to pass the bill with a favorable recommendation.
The motion passed unanimously.
MOTION: Sen. Hickman moved to adjourn.
The motion passed unanimously.
