APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

    MOTION:
Sen. Bell moved to approve the minutes of January 19th 2005.

    The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Hillyard absent for the vote.


1.     S.B. 43 PENALTY FOR PROVIDING FALSE INFORMATION TO STATE AGENCY (Sen. P. Hellewell)

    
Sen. Hellewell presented the bill to the committee.
    
    MOTION: Sen. Bell moved to pass S.B. 43 out of committee with a favorable recommendation.

    The motion passed unanimously. Absent for the vote were: Sen. M. Dmitrich, Sen. L.     Hillyard and Sen. L. Mansell.
    


2.     S.B. 118 IDENTITY FRAUD AMENDMENTS (Sen. C. Walker)

    Sen. Walker presented the bill to the committee.

    MOTION:
Sen. Arent moved to pass S.B. 118 out of committee with a favorable     recommendation.

    The motion passed unanimously. Absent for the vote were: Sen. M. Dmitrich, Sen. L.     Hillyard and Sen. L. Mansell.

3. S.B. 116 ARBITRATION - USE OF SUBPOENA AUTHORIZED ( Sen. D. Eastman)

    
Sen. Eastman presented the bill to the committee.

    David Mortenson, Attorney, spoke in favor of the bill.

     MOTION: Sen. Arent moved to pass S.B. 116 out of committee with a favorable     recommendation.

4. S.B. 104 JUDICIARY AMENDMENTS (Sen. L. Hillyard)

    MOTION:
Sen. Arent moved to substitute S.B. 104 with 1st Sub. S. B. 104.

    The motion passed unanimously.

    Sen. Hillyard presented the bill to the committee.

     MOTION: Sen. Arent moved to pass 1st Sub. S.B. 104 out of committee with a favorable     recommendation.
