8 General Description:
9 This bill allows a person to record notice of the presence of a military installation
10 abutting another parcel of real property.

23 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
24 Section 1. Section 57-3-301 is enacted to read:
25 Part 3. Notice of Presence of Military Installation
26 57-3-301. Recording notice of presence of military installation.
27 (1) A H. [ person ] property owner of record adjacent to a military installation or a
27a military installation .H may record notice of the presence of a military installation on the record

28 for a parcel of real property that abuts the military installation in the office of the county
29 recorder for the county in which the property is located.
30 (2) A notice of the presence of a military installation recorded under Subsection (1)
31 may contain a description of the type of activities occurring on the military installation and any
32 possible nuisances the activities may cause.
