             8      General Description:
             9          This bill adds a new judge to the Fourth Judicial District.
             10      Highlighted Provisions:
             11          This bill:
             12          .    adds a new judge position to the Fourth District Court.

             17      Utah Code Sections Affected:
             18      AMENDS:
             19          78-1-2.2, as last amended by Chapters 150 and 288, Laws of Utah 2004

             21      Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
             22          Section 1. Section 78-1-2.2 is amended to read:
             23           78-1-2.2. Number of district judges.
             24          The number of district court judges shall be:
             25          (1) four district judges in the First District;
             26          (2) 14 district judges in the Second District;
             27          (3) 28 district judges in the Third District;


             28          (4) [12] 13 district judges in the Fourth District;
             29          (5) five district judges in the Fifth District;
             30          (6) two district judges in the Sixth District;
             31          (7) three district judges in the Seventh District; and
             32          (8) two district judges in the Eighth District.
