Rep. Aagard called the meeting to order at 2:18 p.m.
MOTION: Rep. Henrickson moved to approve the minutes of the January 18, 2006 meeting. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Hutchings absent for the vote.
H.B. 79 Prescription Drug Purchasing Pools (Rep. B. Last)
Rep. Bradley G. Last explained the bill to the committee.
MOTION: Rep. Clark moved to amend the bill as follows:
1. Page 5, Line 140 :
140 accordance with Section 63-2-304 of the Government Records Access and Management Act.
(8) If a state entity is participating in a bulk purchasing of prescription drugs program prior to the effective date of this act, this section does not prohibit that state entity from continuing its participation in that bulk purchasing of prescription drugs program.
The motion to amend passed unanimously, with Rep. Hutchings absent for the vote.
MOTION: Rep. Tilton moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Hutchings absent for the vote.
