Rep. Tilton called the meting to order at 8:30 a.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Brown moved to approve the minutes of January 23, 2007. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Wheeler absent for the vote.

H.B. 119    Emergency Communication Funding (Rep. B. Dee)

MOTION:    Rep. Noel moved to delete in title and body H.B. 119, and replace it with 1st         Substitute H.B. 119. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Brown, Rep.         Fisher, Rep. McIff and Rep. Wheeler absent for the vote.

Rep. Dee explained the bill with the assistance of Gary M. Lancaster, Chair, E-911 Committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Mascaro moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Wheeler absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Noel moved that H.B 119 be placed on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Wheeler absent for the vote.

H.B. 243    Energy Policy Amendments (Rep. R. Barrus)

Rep. Barrus explained the bill.


MOTION:    Rep. Hunsaker moved to amend the bill as follows:


1.    Page 3, Line 68 :    

             68          (2) the creation of
{   a pipeline   }        an       infrastructure authority; and



The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Wheeler absent for the vote.
