Rep. Daw called the meeting to order at 2:07 p.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Fisher moved to approve the minutes of the February 2, 2007 meeting. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Cosgrove, Rep. Ferry, and Rep. Herrod absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Kiser moved to send H.B. 220 back to the Rules Committee. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Cosgrove, Rep. Ferry, and Rep. Herrod absent for the vote.

H.B. 344    Vehicles Included in State Fleet (Rep. B. King)

Rep. King introduced the bill to the committee.

MOTION:     Rep. King moved to amend the bill as follows:

1.    Page 2, Lines 41 through 43 :    

             41          (6) (a) "Motor vehicle" means:
             42          (i) a self-propelled vehicle [capable of carrying passengers.]
  designed or       intended primarily for use

             43      and operation on the highways; or

The motion to amend passed unanimously, with Rep. Ferry absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Fisher moved to pass the bill out favorably as amended. The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION:    Rep. Hemingway moved that H.B. 344 be placed on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION:    Rep. King moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously.

Rep. Daw adjourned the meeting at 2:20 p.m.
