Rep. Julie Fisher called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m.
MOTION: Rep. Daw moved to approve the minutes of February 7, 2007. The motion passed unanimously.
H.B. 278 Community-based Self-sufficiency Grants (Rep. J. Seelig)
Rep. Seelig presented the bill.

MOTION: Rep. King moved to table the bill for interim study.
SUBSTITUTE
MOTION: Rep. Daw moved to include the motion of Rep. King and add to the study the need to insure that funds of the grant are contingent upon a matching component from the applicant, and that monies are used for community and economic development, exclusively, without overhead for private administration.
The motion passed unanimously.
MOTION: Rep. King moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously. Rep. Fisher adjourned the meeting at 3:45 p.m.
