Committee Chair Buttars called the meeting to order at 8:05 a.m.
MOTION: Sen. McCoy moved to approve the minutes of the January 26, 2007 meeting.
The motion passed unanimously.
1. S.B. 165 Producer and Affiliate Disclosure Amendments (M. Waddoups)
Sen. Waddoups reported that the bill is in process of being substituted. He requested a hearing on the bill at a later date.
MOTION: Sen. Christensen moved that the committee go to the next item on the agenda.
The motion passed unanimously.
2. H.B. 80 Health Insurance Amendments (J. Dunnigan)
Rep . Dunnigan explained the bill.
Tomi Ossa, UTAHIP, and Kelly Atkinson, Executive Director, Utah Health Assn., spoke in support of the bill.
MOTION: Sen. Christensen moved to pass the bill out favorably.
The motion passed unanimously.
3. S.B. 61 Portability of Medical Assistance Funds (E. Mayne)
The bill was not considered.
4. H.B. 18 Child Support Collection Amendments (Julie Fisher)
Rep. Fisher explained the bill.

MOTION: Sen. Goodfellow moved to pass the bill out favorably.
