Chair Madsen called the meeting to order at 2:10 p.m.
1. Approval of Minutes
MOTION: Sen. Jones moved to approve the minutes of January 17, 2007. The motion passed unanimously.
2. S.B. 127 Tourism Marketing Performance Restricted Special Revenue Fund
Sen. Scott K. Jenkins presented the bill. Leigh Von Der Esch, Managing Director, Utah Office of Tourism, spoke in support.
MOTION: Sen. Stowell moved to pass S.B. 127, Tourism Marketing Performance Restricted Special Revenue Fund, out with a favorable recommendation.
The motion passed unanimously.
Chair Madsen turned the chair to Sen. Eastman.
3. S. J. R. 9 Resolution Supporting Presidential Trade Promotion Authority
Sen. Madsen presented the bill and proposed an amendment.
MOTION: Sen. Madsen moved to amend S.J.R. 9, Resolution Supporting Presidential Trade Promotion Authority, with the following amendment:

The motion passed unanimously.
MOTION: Sen. Jones moved to pass S.J.R. 9, Resolution Supporting Presidential Trade Promotion Authority, out with a favorable recommendation as amended.
The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Stowell absent at the time of the vote.
MOTION: Sen. Fife moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Stowell absent at the time of the vote.
Acting Chair Eastman adjourned the meeting at 2:35 p.m.
