21 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
22 Section 1. Section 23-16-6 is amended to read:
23 23-16-6. Commencement date of general rifle deer season.
24 The general rifle deer season [shall] may not commence [the Saturday on or nearest to
25 October 20th] each year before October 1.
