Vice Chair Daw called the meeting to order at 2:03 p.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Fisher moved to approve the minutes of the February 11, 2008 meeting. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. S. Clark, Rep. Ferry, and Rep. Snow absent for the vote.

H.B. 347    Motor Vehicle Business Regulation Amendments (Rep. S. Andersen)

Rep. Kiser moved to amend the bill as follows:

1.    Page 11, Lines 326 through 332 :    

             326          (1) A used motor vehicle dealer whose used motor vehicle dealer's license has been
             327      suspended
{   shall   }        may       liquidate any remaining inventory by selling the remaining used motor vehicles

             328      to:
             329          (a) a licensed auto auction;


             330          (b) another licensed motor vehicle dealer; or
             331          (c) to any person, but only after the used motor vehicle has been titled in the name of
             332      the owner, partner, or corporate officer of the used motor vehicle dealer for at least 12 months.

The motion to amend passed unanimously, with Rep. S. Clark, Rep., Ferry, and Rep. Snow absent for the vote.

Spoke to the bill:    David Hale, bond broker, Real Value Insurance

MOTION:    Rep. Holdaway moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION:    Rep. King moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously.

Vice Chair Daw adjourned the meeting at 2:14 p.m.
