Chair Madsen called the meeting to order at 9:16 a.m.
MOTION: Sen. Fife moved to approve minutes of the February 8, 2008, meeting.
The motion passed unanimously.
1. H. C. R. 3, Concurrent Resolution - Declaring Love Your Library Week, by Rep. S. Clark
Sen. Stowell explained H. C. R. 3 to the committee. Comments were heard from Sen. Fife.
MOTION: Sen. Fife moved to send H. C. R. 3 out of committee with a favorable recommendation.
The motion passed unanimously.
2. S. B. 287, Appropriation for the Swanson Tactical Training Center, by Sen. Jenkins
Chase Carter, Intern, and Sen. Jenkins explained S. B. 287 to the committee. Comments were heard from Sens. Jenkins, Fife, and Madsen.
MOTION: Sen. Stowell moved to send S. B. 287 out of committee with a favorable recommendation.
The motion passed unanimously.
Chair Madsen adjourned the meeting at 9:27 a. m.
