9 General Description:
10 This bill requires judgments to contain a full legal description of property if the
11 judgment affects the title to the property.
12 Highlighted Provisions:
13 This bill:
14 . requires judgments entered by a district court or justice court that affect title to or
15 ownership of real property to contain a full legal description of the property and the
16 property tax identification number.

25 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
26 Section 1. Section 78B-5-207 is enacted to read:
27 78B-5-207. Judgments affecting title to real property -- Legal description

28 required.
29 A judgment entered by a district court or justice court that affects the ownership of or
30 title to real property shall include the legal description and property tax identification number
31 of the property affected.
