Chair Stevenson called the meeting to order at 2:30 p.m.
MOTION: Sen. Jones moved to approve the minutes from 1/29/2010.
The motion passed unanimously.
1. S.B. 48 - Utah Historical Society - Nonlapsing Authority
MOTION: Sen. Okerlund made the motion to delete in title and body S.B. 48 and place in lieu thereof 1st Substitute Bill S.B. 48.
The motion passed unanimously.
Sen. Okerlund introduced the bill.
Mr. Weeks spoke to the bill.
MOTION: Sen. Okerlund moved to pass 1st Substitute S.B. 48 out of committee with a favorable recommendation
The motion passed unanimously.
MOTION: Sen. Morgan made the motion to put this item on the consent calendar.
The motion passed unanimously .
MOTION: Sen. Jones moved to adjourn the meeting.
The motion passed unanimously.
Chair Stevenson adjourned the meeting at 2:38 p.m.
