9 General Description:
10 This rules resolution modifies the Joint Rules of the Legislature in relation to review of
11 constitutional joint resolutions.
12 Highlighted Provisions:
13 This resolution:
14 . prohibits the Legislature from passing a joint resolution proposing to amend, enact,
15 or repeal a portion of the Utah Constitution during the general session unless the
16 resolution has been reviewed by the Utah Constitutional Revision Commission.

23 Be it resolved by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
24 Section 1. JR4-4-110 is enacted to read:
25 JR4-4-110. Review of Constitutional Joint Resolutions.
26 The Legislature may not pass a constitutional joint resolution during the annual general
27 session that has not been reviewed by the Utah Constitutional Revision Commission.
