9 General Description:
10 This bill adds Utah County and southern Utah to places for future construction of
11 Veterans' Nursing Homes.
12 Highlighted Provisions:
13 This bill:
14 . removes Washington County and replaces it with southern Utah in general as a
15 place for the construction of a future Veterans' Nursing Home.

24 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
25 Section 1. Section 71-11-11 is amended to read:
26 71-11-11. Veterans' Nursing Home Reimbursement Restricted Account.
27 (1) There is created within the General Fund a restricted account known as the

28 "Veterans' Nursing Home Reimbursement Account."
29 (2) The account shall be funded by reimbursement funds from the federal government
30 for veterans' nursing home construction in this state.
31 (3) Interest earned or other amounts derived from funds in the account shall be
32 deposited into the General Fund.
33 (4) Funds in the account shall be appropriated by the Legislature solely for the purpose
34 of matching future funding for the construction of veterans' nursing homes within Utah County
35 and [Washington counties] southern Utah.
