Rep. Powell called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m.
MOTION: Rep. Galvez moved to approve the minutes of the January 26, 2011 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Chavez-Houck and Rep. Fisher absent for the vote.
Rep. Powell relinquished the chair to Rep. Oda.
H.B. 60 Prohibiting Contributions During Special Session (Rep. P. Arent)
Rep. Arent explained the bill to the committee.
MOTION: Rep. Chavez-Houck moved to pass the bill with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Powell absent for the vote.
H.C.R. 3 Concurrent Resolution Urging Congress to Pass Balanced Budget Amendment to U.s. Constitution (Rep. C. Wimmer)
The resolution was not heard in this meeting due to the absence of the sponsor.
MOTION: Rep. Perry moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Powell absent for the vote.
Rep. Oda adjourned the meeting at 4:13 p.m.
