Rep. Oda called the meeting to order at 2:05 p.m.
MOTION: Rep. Arent moved to approve the minutes of the January 27, 2011 meeting. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Butterfield, Rep. Hughes and Rep. Litvack absent for the vote.
H.B. 71 Victim Rights Amendments (Rep. B. Wilson)
Rep. Wilson explained the bill the committee with the assistance of Mr. Mel Wilson, Utah Crime Victims Council.
MOTION: Rep. Arent moved to pass the bill with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously.
MOTION: Rep. Litvack moved to place H.B. 71 on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously.
MOTION: Rep. Litvack moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously.
Rep. Oda adjourned the meeting at 2:15 p.m.
