11 This joint resolution of the Legislature reappoints Michael E. Christensen as Director of
12 the Office of Legislative Research and General Counsel.

14 This resolution:
15 . reappoints Michael E. Christensen as Director of the Office of Legislative Research
16 and General Counsel for a six-year term beginning December 1, 2012.

20 Be it resolved by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
21 WHEREAS, pursuant to Subsection 36-12-7 (3), Utah Code Annotated 1953, the
22 Legislative Management Committee of the Legislature has recommended the reappointment of
23 Michael E. Christensen as Director of the Office of Legislative Research and General Counsel
24 for the Utah Legislature; and
25 WHEREAS, the reappointment of Michael E. Christensen as Director of the Office of
26 Legislative Research and General Counsel for a term of office of six years commencing
27 December 1, 2012, is subject by statute to the further approval of a majority vote of both the
28 Senate and the House of Representatives:
29 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Legislature of the state of Utah that

30 Michael E. Christensen's reappointment as Director of the Office of Legislative Research and
31 General Counsel for the Utah Legislature is approved for a six-year term of office beginning
32 December 1, 2012.
