8 General Description:
9 This bill modifies the Code of Criminal Procedure regarding the use by law
10 enforcement of mobile tracking devices.
11 Highlighted Provisions:
12 This bill:
13 . repeals the current code provision that authorizes a law enforcement agency to use a
14 mobile tracking device upon application for a court order as specified, and granting
15 of that order by the court.

24 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
25 Section 1. Repealer.
26 This bill repeals:
27 Section 77-23a-15.5, Mobile tracking device authorization.
