Madam Speaker:

    The Natural Resources, Agriculture, and Environment Committee reports a favorable recommendation on H.B. 343, UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK AMENDMENTS, by Representative K. McIff, with the following amendments:

1.    Page 7, Lines 187 through 191 :    

             187          (29) "Underground storage tank" means [any] a tank regulated under Subtitle I,
             188      Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, 42 U.S.C. Sec. 6991c, et seq., including:
             189          (a) a petroleum storage tank;
             190          (b) underground pipes and lines connected to a storage tank;

{   and   }

             191          (c) [any]
{   an   } underground ancillary equipment        ;       and

    
  (d) a       containment system.
