    The Government Operations Committee reports a favorable recommendation on S.B. 16, BALLOT PROPOSITION AMENDMENTS, by Senator S. Jenkins, with the following amendments:


1.    Page 1, Lines 17 through 18 :

{   .    repeals a provision restricting an initiative or referendum related to a land use

             18      ordinance;   }

2.    Page 2, Line 32 :

{   20A-7-401, as last amended by Laws of Utah 2008, Chapter 24   }


3.    Page 14, Line 427 through Page 15, Line 433 :     Delete lines 427 through 433.

    Renumber remaining sections accordingly.
