    The Government Operations Committee reports a favorable recommendation on S.B. 20, PETITIONS BY CANDIDATES OR POLITICAL PARTIES, by Senator P. Knudson, with the following amendments:

1.    Page 1, Lines 22 through 24 :    

             22          .    requires a person who is a resident of at least 18 years of age to verify the signing of
             23      a certificate of nomination petition by an unaffiliated candidate
