The following

(1) in IECC, Section 303.1.3:
(a) the following is added at the end of the second sentence before the period: "or,
for a site-built fenestration product, shall be assigned the system U-factor stated in the
manufacturer's documentation, if the manufacturer has produced documentation of the
applicable system U-factor"; and
(b) the following is added at the end of the fourth sentence before the period: "or,
for a site-built fenestration product, shall be assigned the system SHGC stated in the
manufacturer's documentation, if the manufacturer has produced documentation of the
applicable system SHGC"; and
(2) in
IECC, Section 504.4, a new exception is added as follows: "Exception: Heat
traps, other than the arrangement of piping and fittings, shall be prohibited unless a means
of controlling thermal expansion can be ensured as required in the IPC Section 607.3."
