Vice Chair Christensen called the meeting to order at 4:15 p.m.

H.B. 315    Domestic Violence and Dating Violence Amendments (Rep. P. Ray)

Rep. Ray presented the bill to the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Ray moved to amend the bill as follows:


1.    Page 1, Line 17 :    

             17              .    the parties are emancipated or
{   18   }        19       years of age or older;


2.    Page 28, Line 840 :    

             840          (ii) is
{   18   }        19       years of age or older;


The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Herrod and Rep. McIff absent for the vote.

The gavel was passed to Rep. McIff at 4:30 p.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Hutchings moved to proceed to the next item on the agenda. The substitute motion passed, with Rep. Doughty and Rep. King voting in opposition. Rep. Ivory and Rep. Wilson were absent for the vote.

Rep. V. Peterson presented the bill to the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Herrod moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Wilson absent for the vote.
