Rep. Oda called the meeting to order at 4:10 p.m.

H.B. 14    Civil Commitment Amendments (Rep. B. Daw)

Rep. Daw introduced and explained the bill with the assistance of Mr. Paul Boyden, Statewide Association of Prosecutors, and Mr. Ron Gordon, Commission on Criminal and Juvenile Justice.

MOTION:    Rep. Perry moved to amend the bill as follows:

1.    Page 2, Line 57 :    

             57      mouth

The motion to amend passed unanimously.

MOTION:    Rep. Perry moved to pass the bill out favorably as amended. The motion passed unanimously.

Rep. Ipson introduced and explained the bill with the assistance of Mr.Clinton Drake, Assistant City Attorney, Layton City.

MOTION:    Rep. Arent moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION:    Rep. Perry moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously.
