Chair Barrus called the meeting to order at 4:03 p.m. Chair Barrus turned the time over to Rep. Painter to update the committee on legislation introduced into the U.S. Senate regarding land ownership for homeowners near Scofield Reservoir.

S.B. 15    Off-highway Vehicles Amendments (Sen. R. Okerlund) (Rep. J. Draxler)

Sen. Okerlund introduced the bill to the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Noel moved to amend the bill as follows:

1.    Page 2, Lines 43 through 45 :    

             43          (a) [The] (i) Except as provided in Subsection (1)(a)(ii), the fee for each off-highway
             44      vehicle registration may not exceed [$17]

             45          (ii) The fee for each snowmobile registration may not exceed
