Chair Reid called the meeting to order at 8:00 a.m.
Approval of Minutes
MOTION: Sen. Osmond moved to adopt the minutes of the February 16, 2012 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Stevenson absent for the vote.
S.B. 274 Legislative Committee Amendments (Sen. S. Reid)
Sen. Reid introduced and explained the bill.
MOTION: Sen. Okerlund moved to sent out S.B.74 with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously.
MOTION: Sen. Reid moved that S.B. 274 be placed on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously.
S.J.R. 25 Joint Resolution Honoring Steve Appleton (Sen. J. Valentine)
Sen. Osmond introduced and explained the bill on behalf of Sen. Valentine.
MOTION: Sen. Okerlund moved to send S.J.R. 25 out with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously.
H.J.R. 17 Joint Resolution on Interim Committee Name Change (Rep. J. Bird)
Rep. Bird introduced and explained the bill.
MOTION: Sen. Stevenson moved to send H.J.R. 17 out with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously.
MOTION: Sen. Stevenson moved to place H.J.R. 17 on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously.
