         PROVISIONS REGARDING SCHOOL SUPPLIES

Representative Kraig Powell proposes the following amendments:

1.    Page 1, Lines 15 through 19 :    

             15          .    requires that a suggested list of supplies include specified language explaining that
{   :

             16              .    the list is compiled solely to provide information to parents and guardians who
             17      wish to voluntarily furnish supplies for student use; and
             18              .    equivalent supplies will be furnished by the school to all students free of charge
             19      as necessary.   }
  the supplies may be brought from home on a voluntary basis; otherwise, they will be furnished by the school free of charge.
