         MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY INSPECTION AMENDMENTS

Senator John L. Valentine proposes the following amendments:

1.    Page 1, Line 9 :    

             9          This bill modifies provisions relating to
{   the   } motor vehicle safety inspections.


2.    Page 8, Line 220 :    

             220          (c)
{   moneys   }        money       received in accordance with Section 41-1a-1201 ; and


3.    Page 8, Lines 238 through 239 :    

             238      Identification provides under Section 53-3-205.5 .
    
  (9)(a) The Legislature shall appropriate all money received under Subsection 41-1a-1201(8) to the Utah Highway Patrol Division for field operations.

    (b) The Legislature may appropriate additional money from the account to the Utah Highway Patrol Division for law enforcement purposes.
