Senator Margaret Dayton proposes the following amendments:
1. Page 1, Line 26 through Page 2, Line 32 :
26 (1) The Legislature envisions a public education system established in the following
27 foundational principles:
(a) that parents are a child's first teachers and are responsible for the education of their
children;
