Senator Peter C. Knudson proposes the following amendments:
1. Page 1, Lines 15 through 16 :
15 . exempts optometrists
, dentists,
and naturopathic physicians from controlled substances
16 prescriber education requirements;
2. Page 2, Lines 39 through 43 :
39 (ii) Subsection (1)(a)(i) does not apply to:
40 (A) an optometrist licensed under Title 58, Chapter 16a, Utah Optometry Practice Act;
41 (B) a veterinarian licensed under Title 58, Chapter 28, Veterinary Practice Act;

}
42 (C)
a dentist licensed under Title 58, Chapter 69, Dentist and Dental Hygienist Practice Act; or
(D)
a naturopathic physician licensed under Title 58, Chapter 71, Naturopathic
43 Physician Practice Act.
