             8      LONG TITLE
             9      General Description:
             10          This bill modifies a provision that would repeal a section in the Insurance Code that
             11      authorizes the state insurance commissioner to coordinate insurance related agreements
             12      with other states and entities.
             13      Highlighted Provisions:
             14          This bill:
             15          .    modifies the repeal date of Section 31A-2-217 in the Insurance Code, which
             16      authorizes the insurance commissioner, by rule, to enter into agreements with other
             17      states, governmental regulatory agencies, or the National Association of Insurance
             18      Commissioners; and
             19          .    extends the automatic repeal date from July 1, 2013, to July 1, 2023.

             26          63I-1-231, as last amended by Laws of Utah 2011, Chapters 199, 240, and 400

             28      Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
             29          Section 1. Section 63I-1-231 is amended to read:


             30           63I-1-231. Repeal dates, Title 31A.
             31          (1) Section 31A-2-208.5 , Comparison tables, is repealed July 1, 2015.
             32          (2) Section 31A-2-217 , Coordination with other states, is repealed July 1, [2013] 2023.
