             8      General Description:
             9          This bill amends provisions of the Internet voting pilot project to permit certain
             10      uniformed service voters and voters with a disability, in a participating county, to
             11      register to vote, and vote, electronically.
             12      Highlighted Provisions:
             13          This bill:
             14          .    amends provisions of the Internet voting pilot project to permit certain uniformed
             15      service voters and voters with a disability, in a participating county, to register to
             16      vote, and vote, electronically; and
             17          .    makes technical changes.
             18      Money Appropriated in this Bill:
             19          None
             20      Other Special Clauses:

             24           20A-6-103 , as last amended by Laws of Utah 2011, Chapter 327

             26      Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
             27          Section 1. Section 20A-6-103 is amended to read:
             28           20A-6-103. Internet voting pilot project.
             29          Notwithstanding any [other provisions] provision of this title[, any] to the contrary, a


             30      county may[, if selected by the Department of Defense, participate in the Federal Voting
             31      Assistance Program pilot project to] allow a covered voter, as defined in Section 20A-16-102 ,
             32      or a voter with a disability, as defined in 42 U.S.C. 12102(1), to register to vote, and [cast their
             33      votes] vote electronically.
