9 General Description:
10 This bill repeals the Veterans' Nursing Home Reimbursement Restricted Account and
11 appropriates the funds that remain in the account.
12 Highlighted Provisions:
13 This bill:
14 . repeals the Veterans' Nursing Home Reimbursement Restricted Account; and
15 . appropriates $105,000 from a General Fund restricted account to the Utah Veterans'
16 Nursing Home Fund.

19 . to the Utah Veterans' Nursing Home Fund as a one-time appropriation:

28 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
29 Section 1. Repealer.
30 This bill repeals:
31 Section 71-11-11 , Veterans' Nursing Home Reimbursement Restricted Account.
32 Section 2. Appropriation.
33 The Legislature has reviewed the following expendable special revenue fund. The
34 Legislature authorizes the State Division of Finance to transfer amounts among the account and
35 fund as indicated for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2013 and ending June 30, 2014. Outlays
36 and expenditures from the recipient fund may be made without further legislative action
37 according to a fund's applicable authorizing statute.

44 Section 3. Effective date.
45 (1) Except as provided in Subsection (2), this bill takes effect on May 13, 2014.
46 (2) If approved by two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, Uncodified
47 Section 2, Appropriation, takes effect upon approval by the governor, or the day following the
48 constitutional time limit of Utah Constitution, Article VII, Section 8, without the governor's
49 signature, or in the case of a veto, the date of veto override.
