2.     Overview of the Physics of Electricity

     A brief presentation on the physics of generating, transmitting, and distributing electricity.

3.     Impact on Utah of Restructuring in the Electrical Industry
    
Mr. Eyring will discuss how restructuring in the electrical industry impacts Utah.

     Mr. Burks will present the Office of Energy & Resource Planning's analysis of how restructuring in the electrical industry impacts Utah.

5.     Utah Power & Light Overview
    Utah Power & Light will provide specific information and respond to task force member questions concerning the operations of Utah Power & Light within Utah.

    The Public Service Commission ("PSC") will discuss what activities of Utah Power & Light are regulated by the PSC.

     The issue of strandable costs will be introduced to the task force in preparation for a more detailed discussion in the July 10 meeting of the task force on how strandable costs should be defined and determined in Utah.

    In preparation for the July 10 meeting, interested parties are requested to provide written comments and briefing papers on how strandable costs should be defined and determined. Please provide 20 three hole punched copies to the task force staff by no later than the beginning of the June 26th meeting. The task force staff will then forward the materials to the task force.
