About the Legislative Services Office
The Utah Legislature's Legislative Services office provides streamlined shared services to the State Senate, House of Representatives, and all legislative staff offices.
Legislative services started modestly in 2018 with human resource management functions. Shortly after, LS added centralized financial services for things like enterprise software and branch-wide membership dues. In 2019, the Legislature moved-in Legislative Printing and the Bill Room from the Legislative Fiscal Analyst's Office. In 2021, legislators consolidated information technology functions - largely from the Office of Legislative Research and General Counsel but also other line-organizations - into Legislative Services.
In Legislative Services, we take a "customer first" approach to innovative, responsive, and reliable technology, printing, finance, and human resource support.
